A poem to heal the brokenhearted (Luke 4:18)

When riches come and go,
When loved ones leave you suddenly,
When life takes a different turn on you,
You’ve got to move with Jesus.

When beliefs turn false,
When hope turns into shadows,
When facts turn sour,
You've got to move on with Jesus.

When people ruin your day,
When mistakes become a burden,
When confusion takes a step,
You've got to move on with Jesus Christ.

When love turns to loneliness,
When trust turns to hate,
When truth becomes a lie,
You've got to move on with Jesus Christ.

When depression laughs at you,
When all is void,
When you expect nothing More,
When you can only but pray,
You've got to move on with Jesus.

For life itself is a mystery,
But Jesus is a grantee,
For people can’t make you happy forever,
But Christ can bring you joy,
For when you feel you need love to hide your fear,
Know the Lord is your strength and your salvation,
For he has promised,
That his thoughts towards you are of good and not of evil,
And that he is doing something in your day,
For it is but a light thing,
Oh believe believe believe!

That you’ve got to move on with Jesus.
