If you’ve watched the time-travel show " Bodies " on Netflix, then you’d be very familiar with the title of this article and for that reason dearest reader "Know you are loved" . Should incase you haven’t, let me first begin by saying that I fully and whole heatedly recommend this mind trapping and "purpose driven " limited series on Netflix. Why? you may ask, well let’s get to that now 😏.

For shorts, this series centers on one man’s need (Elias Manix) to know that somewhere in someone’s heart through whatever means possible he was or would be loved, and it took him four different years (2023, 1941,1890 and the year 2053, all through time travel), the death of many and the anger of most to get to the feeling and the need to be loved. However, what activates the true meaning of love was the quote "the seed of doubt ".

Stay with me here, it’s not a movie review I promise 😌

Now I’m not about to spoil the entire series for those with inquisitive minds so in this article, we focus on " the seed of doubt ", Elias for one referred to himself as "that sick, withered, frightened boy" and this was not just referring to his body but also to his soul. It referred to how he had let the fear of being erased and the need to remain supreme overpower the purpose of his existence and the true ability of his will outside the need to remain self sufficient. Most times we let the need to belong pull us out of the reality of truly living, a wise man once saids "He who plants a tree and knows that he may not benefit from that tree has at least started to understand the meaning of life". Elias wanted to live on, he lied about his own existence in every time loop he ever landed in, he married the wrong girl and hoped that he would make her love him and retain his seeds if only he could lie about himself and his intentions.

See the thing about the devil is that he let’s you dwell in your fears, your desperations and of course your unbelief of who you truly are born to be and who you can be. See My Bible says "the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy" ( John 10:10), Elias knew no peace nor did he ever experience any genuine love all in the bid to remain present and not relevant. Elias caused the death of many in 2023, the death of a poor street orphan girl who had more freedom, and zeal to live a worthy life than he even could in 1941, he killed the father or his chosen wife in 1840 and still didn’t get close to the true meaning of life. Here comes the plot twist 😉

In the year 2053, Elias had created a new world order of civilization and in it layed his salvation, still on the need to retain his seeds and reign supreme, therein came his saviour, detective iris Maplewood. Now I skipped alot of worthy names and scenes in this series just so I could reserve some heartfelt gripping scenes for you to watch so go watch it 🤐 but first, finish this article 😁. Iris was part of those who benefited from dear Elias invention , whereas the inventor himself continued in his quest "to be loved". Iris, a crippled detective who from birth was unable to work, was given the chance to walk through the enabling invention of an aided spine. It took iris some magical moments and an intentional love she had never expected to receive but was showed towards her all because she first gave love without expecting to receive. 1 john 4:20

When all hope was lost in stopping Elias and his plan to take, take, take, from the world over and over again, Iris saw the big picture and she suggested "what if we go back in time with him and plant the seed of doubt in his mind". Now in this article, the seed of doubt connotes the seed of truth. What have you been made to believe by the devil as your reality, what lies have you lived in believing that that’s all you were created for, what sorrows have you let belittle your spirit? . The seed of doubt in Elias case only had to take Iris joining him in the year 1890 and meeting the right person who relayed the truth to Elias about who he really was, when he thought no one knew who he was, he forgot that it takes a determined person to chase after you and reveal the truth. Elias was frightened hearing all about his true self and identity and all he had ever done from the mouth of one he thought he had under his control. When the seed of truth, the seed of honesty, the seed of acceptance was planted into Elias empty soul, it sprouted and yelded results.

I’d like to give you at most 60 seconds to guess whose followed you into this life, that one friend you’d never knew you had, that one friend who went besides himself and became what he wasn’t just to get you to see the bigger picture. You see Jesus came that we may have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10b), Jesus knew no sin but became sin that we may be redeemed ( 2 Corinthians 5:21), He knew what it meant to be lied to and tempted by the devil (Mathew 4:1-11) and yet he believed only what the father said he his ( Mathew 3:17). If the world was created for just you alone then we wouldn’t all be here with you, never believe the lie that you are alone, if you aim to remain positive and fill yourself with love of the truth knowing that it is certain that one-day you will leave this world then you must look ahead of just yourself and your fears, even satan doesn’t act alone (how’s that for the lie he tells you), the devil has principalities and powers to aid him keep you in the dark ( Ephesians 6:12) but here’s your plot twist, you have the host of heaven cheering you on and keeping you at the mercies of GOD through the loving act of Christ Jesus and guess what, Jesus believes in you and he is so sure that you are not alone (Revelations 3:20), He even made sure of it that whiles you’re here on earth, you’ve got the Holy Spirit with you each and everytime and in all you do and wherever you go (John 14:26).
